Maracatu Mar Aberto is an Afro-Brazilian percussion and song troupe playing Maracatu de Baque Virado and other rhythms derived from the same traditions. I captured the troupe as they paraded through the crowded streets of Kensington Market’s Pedestrian Sunday.
